Surprise, surprise. St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols has broken a record during his red-hot streak of games in the month of August.

There has been no player hotter in the month of August than St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols. In the past week, he has been hitting home run after home run, drawing ever so closer to reaching the 700 mark of his career. In the process, he has made history in a variety of ways. To the shock of no one, he has broken a record during this recent stretch of games.
