Anthony Joshua will fight on the same bill as Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia on December 23.
The Briton, who is looking to insert himself back into the world title picture in the heavyweight division, will face Sweden’s Otto Wallin in the Middle East.
Joshua, who beat Robert Helenius in his last bout in August, will fight after Wilder, who faces Joseph Parker on the undercard.
December 23 was initially reserved for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk‘s undisputed heavyweight showdown, which has since been postponed following Fury’s lacklustre performance against Francis Ngannou last month.
‘The end game for these fights is AJ v Wilder in the New Year on condition they both win. Also in Riyadh,’ said promoter Frank Warren.

The card also features Daniel Dubois taking on Jarrell Miller, while WBA light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol will defend his title against Manchester’s Lyndon Arthur.
Fellow Briton Elliz Zorro will take on WBC cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia, while British heavyweight Daniel Dubois will face American Jarrell Miller.
The blockbuster card has been billed as the ‘Day or Reckoning’ and Eddie Hearn believes it marks a pivotal moment for boxing.
‘We all want the sport of boxing to grow,’ he said ahead of the press conference.
‘We want opportunities for our fighters. This is the opportunity for something special. I’ve never seen a card like this before.’
