Hawaii Governor Urges Vacationers to Keep Away as Coronavirus Surges
Gov. David Ige of Hawaii requested guests to not journey to the islands until it’s for important enterprise functions, as excessive numbers of coronavirus instances pressure the state’s hospitals.
We’re seeing extra Covid sufferers in our hospitals and the I.C.U.s are filling up. We have to take motion now with the intention to cut back the unfold of Covid and be sure that our hospitals aren’t overrun. I did ask everybody, residents and guests alike, to cut back journey to Hawaii to important enterprise actions solely. We do know that it isn’t time to journey to the islands.
