Whatever the result of Logan Paul‘s bout against fierce rival Dillon Danis this evening, boxing is certainly not the winner. The despicable build-up put paid to that.
Despite both fighters seeking the advantage in the mind games stakes over one another, it was Danis who took their feud to an entirely different and toxic level.
Day by day, he began to post half-naked pictures of Paul’s fiancee, model Nina Agdal, and even shared a private video in which she discussed her sexual cravings.
The end result was a shattering of any lingering respect between the opponents, while Danis was hit with a restraining order and a lawsuit in quick succession.
Here, Mail Sport delves back over a grizzly past couple of months…

AGDAL IN THE FIRING LINE
The X-rated video of Agdal openly talking about her sex life swept across social media, ensuring Danis’ rivalry with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul became personal.
Agdal, 31, who was previously in a one-year relationship with Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, said in the viral clip: ‘By the way, I’m very proud of myself because this is the longest I’ve gone without sex since I’ve started.
‘Obviously, it’s driving me crazy. I am struggling, I need penis inside of me, ASAP.’
She concluded the video by saying: ‘So if any of you guys know a good d*** that doesn’t have STDs on it. I’ll take it, right here.’
It remains unclear when Agdal recorded the video or how Danis obtained it.
Danis simply captioned the post on X (formerly Twitter): ‘Morning’. He also claimed to have X-rated photos of the Danish model and urged Paul to call off his engagement.
‘I just got another absolute nuke of a pic of Nina this one might be worse than the other one wow this girl is actually wild,’ Danis said.
‘Logan on a man level you need to call this marriage off now.’

RESTRAINING ORDER
Unsurprisingly, Agdal was granted a restraining order after the incessant attacks.
With Danis having used her as a route to rile up Paul, Agdal filed a lawsuit as a result of the social media bombardment and also sued the mixed martial artist.
Agdal alleged Danis targeted her with ‘despicable’ posts more than 250 times since the bout was announced and that she suffered humiliation, emotional distress and reputational harm. An injunction was granted against Danis in a further drastic step.
That prevented Danis from posting content about Agdal that was ‘obtained without consent’ or featured ‘sexually explicit photographs’ of her, it has been reported.
Agdal is seeking unspecified damages but no less than £120,000 ($150,000) per violation of the federal law prohibiting the sharing of intimate images. She alleged that a post from Danis on August 11 in particular violated federal and state law.
The post, she claimed, featured a sexually explicit image of her from a ‘romantic encounter’ she had with an unnamed individual over a decade ago.
‘Danis posted the photograph — entirely uncensored — from his X (Twitter) account, without Plaintiff’s consent,’ the suit read. ‘Later that day, Danis reposted the explicit photograph in order to maximize the number of views it would receive.’
Danis responded to the suit on X and informed his followers he could not comment.
‘Nina Adgel [sic] has filed a massive lawsuit against me’ Danis wrote. ‘She filed a restraining order against me and is seeking prison time, so the fight is in jeopardy if I’m in jail. This is actually wild but I won’t stop f*** the system come get me,’ he said.
‘Logan Paul is a dead man walking.
‘I will provide more details when I can, but because it’s a federal case, I can’t at this time. P.S. f*** that h*e… Nina Agdal will be called Karen Agdal till further notice.’

LAWSUIT ALLEGATIONS
The same lawsuit also alleged that Danis had posted ‘hundreds of posts containing vulgar and disparaging pictures, memes and comments’ about Agdal.
It then added: ‘All the while, Danis has been rewarded for that same conduct through an increased social media following and publicity that has resulted in his offensive posts being viewed more than two billion times to date.’
In the ruling, the court noted that Danis had failed to appear for a hearing on the matter and also dodged several attempts to deliver the court servings.
Even this did not stop Danis from continuing to post inflammatory photos featuring Agdal on social media, however, including in the week leading up to the fight.
Danis referred to the lawsuit on X and on October 7, said he would ‘rather be a keyboard warrior than a lawsuit warrior.’
‘I didn’t sign up for a sue-off, I signed up for a boxing match. F**k this nonsense,’ he said in September.
A few days later, he then added: ‘Logan doesn’t want me to fight, which is why he’s resorting to the law. He can’t handle the truth or accept that I exposed Nina for who she is. A real man would want to handle it in the ring.
‘Using lawsuits doesn’t make you tough; it just shows how much of a p***y you are.’

PAUL REVEALS ALL
Paul has since explained the terms of the restraining order.
‘It’s not a physical restraining order,’ Paul said on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour.
‘He can’t post explicit photos of her, which is insane that we’re in a world where that has to be stated. This is just weird behaviour.
‘If anyone else was doing this, me and my team would be alarmed. We’d be like “who is this? What is this person’s weird obsession with my fiancee?”
‘He’s a twisted individual and we’re going to handle it.’

JOSHUA: ‘NO RULES IN BOXING’
Anthony Joshua has come to the defence of Dillon Danis despite his actions.
In an interview with DAZN, which has been posted on social media, Joshua said: ‘I’ll be real, in this game of boxing, there are no rules.
‘The internet is undefeated. All of your information is out there at the end of the day. What you put out there will always come back around full circle.
‘Unfortunately, they are using this as a war tactic – and you’re at war. So there are no low blows and anything is acceptable in the art of war.’

AGDAL WILL ATTEND
Regardless of the restraining order, Paul said Agdal will be in attendance tonight.
‘Nina is a warrior, dude,’ Paul said. ‘Dillon Danis is a puddle. Dillon Danis on Twitter, on X, behind a keyboard, is much different than Dillon Danis in person.
‘I saw it, I witnessed it face to face. Just two separate entities.
‘That night will be incredibly glorious. After all of this, when my man is face down, flat, knocked out, horizontal, what are you gonna do? What are you gonna say?
‘This is the man you are – the guy who decided to harass a woman for 60 days.’
Paul, however, couldn’t help but vent his frustrations about Danis once again.
He said: ‘This guy does not deserve this [bout], but he does deserve to get laid out.
‘I happen to be a vehicle for attention, unfortunately, and the way I’m getting this particular round of attention is through a boxing match with this scumbag.’
Paul said his relationship with Agdal is stronger, despite Danis’s incessant online trolling
