Josh Allen reacts to a mass shooting a Buffalo grocery store on his Twitter account.
The City of Buffalo is in mourning after a tragic event occurred in a local grocery store.
10 people were murdered by an armed assailant while trying to buy groceries. Going to the grocery store should be one of the safest activities a human being does on a regular basis, but here we are. This heartbreaking tragedy not only has all of Buffalo in a complete state of devastation, but it has found its way to social media as the whole internet is disgusted by it.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen shared his thoughts on this most somber of Saturdays.
“Extremely hard to express the emotions right now. Absolutely heartbroken for the victims and their families, and for the City of Buffalo.”

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen speaks on grocery store mass shooting
A lot of us are in the same position as Allen. It is hard to put into words how to feel about this. Anger, yes, but a mass shooting at a grocery store? How much lower can the bar really go? Surely, the Bills, the Buffalo Sabres, the Pegula Family and the rest of the City of Buffalo will try to rally together to overcome this most tragic of events. As Allen put it, this is absolutely heartbreaking.
Obviously, there are way more important things than sports in this country, such as matters of life and death. However, there are few things as capable of bringing people together quite like sports do. In a smaller media market like Buffalo, the Bills are everything. For Allen to be this shaken by what happened at a local grocery store, it probably stands to reason his teammates feel the same.
Prayers go out to the families affected by this senseless tragedy and may they find some peace.
