NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Pakistan has a "special responsibility" to aid Afghanistan not only because of the geography of the nations but also due to the close relationship they have with the Taliban.

Jens Stoltenberg said during a NATO briefing that Pakistan needed to get involved and help the situation in Afghanistan due to their close relationship with the Taliban. During a conference, Mr Stolenberg said Pakistan has a responsibility for what happens to Afghanistan in the future as the rest of the world prepares for another refugee crisis following the Taliban takeover.
