Watch Pat McAfee belly flop into the Tennessee River on College GameDay

Pat McAfee is an absolute legend for belly flopping into the Tennessee River on ESPN’s College GameDay.

Who says sequels aren’t any good?

The newest member of ESPN’s College GameDay has been a tremendous caffeine boost for the pre-game show. Pat McAfee may be new in the college football world for some, but he is diving into it head first. While he did not do exactly that on Saturday in Knoxville, this absolute stallion decked out in checkered overalls turned a backflip into a belly flop into the cool Tennessee River.

McAfee’s SEC baptism in front of the Vol Navy was nothing short of absolutely majestic content.

Not that long ago, McAfee did a swan dive off a double-decker boat into the Brazos River when College GameDay was in Waco for Oklahoma at Baylor.

The world has never recovered and David Pollack has never been the same since…

How you doing? Keep it moving…

Pat McAfee belly flops into the Tennessee River in front of the Vol Navy, baby!

We all knew what he was capable of and that he was probably going to do it. McAfee is taking a seasonal break from WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown! to get us even more fired up on Saturdays. He treated the back of a boat like the top rope during Wrestlemania. With his former Indianapolis Colts teammate Peyton Manning as the guest picker, of course, he was backflipping into the river!

Admittedly, this comes with the territory regarding McAfee. He is always having more fun than you, and you’re just happy to be a part of it, whether he is on College GameDay, Smackdown! or his popular daily YouTube show. ESPN may be a Disney company, but Mickey Mouse made a great investment by adding the most interesting man in sports to its popular, but tired pre-game show.

Ultimately, McAfee’s addition was all about setting up College GameDay‘s future beyond the absolute legend that is Lee Corso. While he was thankfully back in Knoxville for the No. 3 Alabama at No. 6 Tennessee festivities, we may not be getting that many more fall Saturdays with L.C. In the meantime, we know for a fact McAfee will be bringing the energy daily and twice on Saturday.

This man is living the dumbest life possible and we could not be happier to watch him go and do it.
