Nazim Sadykhov delivers a nasty third-round KO after picking Ahmad Hassanzada apart.
Lightweight prospect Nazmin Sadykhov who is 6-1 with four knockouts just added another to his highlight reel. Kicking off Dana White’s Contender Series this week, Sadykhov was matched up against Team Alpha Male fighter Ahmad Hassanzada (8-1) who was riding a four-fight win streak.
The first round was all Sadykhov. After starting off the fight with a big body shot that sent Hassanzada sprawling, Sadykhov wound up on top and opened up the Afghanistani fighter with big elbows to the head. The second round was more of the same but on the feet, as Sadykhov picked apart Hassanzada before dropping him with another big body shot to end the round.
The corner of Sadykhov was instrumental in the third round as they told their fighter to attack the body and get Hassanzada out of there. Sadykhov did just that as he put the lights out with an overhand right two minutes into the final round.
