Fun 2023 Super Bowl prop bets for Chiefs vs. Eagles

The Super Bowl is the single best sporting event to bet on.

Whether you’re betting on the side, the total, or a number of player props, it’s up to you. On top of all of those, there are also plenty of fun or “exotic” props you can wager on.

If you’re looking for a few fun bets, I have you covered.

Let’s dive into my three favorite fun prop bets for Super Bowl 57.

Exotic Super Bowl 2023 prop bets

  • Color of Gatorade bath
  • Fastest offensive ball carrier
  • Total players to have a pass attempt

Color of Gatorade bath

One of the most fun prop bets of the Super Bowl is what is going to be the color of the Gatorade bath dumped on the winning coach. There’s nothing to handicap, it’s purely based on gut feeling, but it gives a little bit more excitement to the final whistle in the game.

If you’re curious, Orange has occurred the most times at five. Blue, clear, and no Gatorade dumped has the next up at four. Yellow/Green comes in at three, and there have only been two purple Gatorade dumps.

For me, I’m taking a shot on yellow/green.

Fastest offensive ball carrier

This is a fun one. Which ball carrier will be recorded at the fastest speed during the game?

The fastest offensive player from each team so far in the playoffs has been Isiah Pacheco, who, according to NextGenStats, reached 20.97 miles per hour in the Divisional Round against the Jaguars. So, that’s who I’m going to back in this game.

Give me Pacheco to be the fastest offensive ball carrier in the Super Bowl.

Total players to have a pass attempt

This bet is basically on whether or not either team will run a trick play that results in someone not named Patrick Mahomes or Jalen Hurts throwing a pass. While it’s rare to happen during the regular season, it has become a popular move in the Super Bowl.

We all remember the Philly Special from the last Eagles Super Bowl. Last year, both teams had a trick play that involved a non-QB throwing the ball. Joe Mixon threw a six-yard touchdown for the Bengals and Cooper Kupp threw an incomplete pass for the Rams.

Also, let’s not cheer for this, but if a quarterback gets hurt and a backup comes in and throws a pass, we can cash this bet that way as well.

But, that’s not fun. Let’s root for a trick play instead.
