Logan Paul said he wants to fight Tommy Fury to avenge his younger brother Jake Paul’s defeat to the British Love Island star.

Fury inflicted the first career defeat on the American’s record by beating his rival via split decision in their showdown in Saudi Arabia Sunday, with the fight scored 76-73, 76-73, 74-75 to the Brit.

Paul has already promised he would be back for a rematch after blaming the loss on ‘illness’ and an ‘arm injury’, with his opponent telling him to ‘bring it on’.

But if the pair don’t clash again in a rematch, the older Paul brother said he would get into the ring with Fury to avenge the defeat.

‘If you don’t [have a rematch], I’d like to handle that. … That was like my first instinct, obviously,’ Logan told his brother on the BS W/ Jake Paul podcast

The Paul brothers’ mom, Pamela Stepnick, interjected, ‘I think what you said was, “I’m going to kill that kid.”‘

To which Logan replied: ‘Yeah that’s what I said. He’s my little brother. F*** that. Inflatable arm ass, motherf***er. F***.’

Jake then joked that they could both avenge each other’s losses if he were to up against his big brother’s former nemesis, KSI, and could ‘start an Avenger movie.’

However, it appears Tommy would be open to a rematch, telling Jake to ‘bring that’ immediately after his victory.

‘100 per cent this is my first main event,’ he said. ‘I’m only going to stronger. I’m only going to bigger and better. There were a lot of nerves coming into it and I override that. If he wants a rematch, bring that.’

Tommy’s older brother, Tyson Fury, also said he would like to see him face Jake in a rematch before taking on the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s older brother Logan .

The WBC heavyweight champion has said he would like to see Tommy face Jake again – claiming the YouTuber-turned-boxer was a ‘worthy opponent’.

Speaking after the fight, Tyson said: ‘Tommy will be headlining now forever. I’d like to see him fight a rematch with Jake Paul and fight Logan, his brother.’

Jake was furious after the result on Sunday evening and questioned how the judges had scored the contest.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer felt hard done by – with one judge scoring it 75-74 to Jake and the other two scoring it 76-73 to Fury.

Jake also claimed his performance in Saudi Arabia was flat because of issues he experienced in his training camp that he had not previously mentioned.

Speaking in the ring directly after the fight, Jake said: ‘All respect to Tommy, he won. Don’t judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses.

‘I’ll come back and I think we deserve the rematch. It was a great fight, a close fight. I don’t know if I agree with the judges.

‘I got a 10-8 round twice. It is what it is but I’ve already won in life. I’ve won in every single way, I have amazing family, amazing friends and an amazing work ethic.

‘Honestly, I felt flat. I got sick really bad twice in this camp, injured my arm, so it wasn’t my best performance,’ he said to boos from the crowd before immediately insisting he was beaten by the better man.

‘But I lost – I’m not making excuses. I’m just saying, it wasn’t my best performance, I felt a little flat and like I said, we’re going to come back and get that W.’

The 26-year-old finished by saying: ‘Don’t judge me by my wins, judge my by my losses – I’m going to come back stronger.’

The fans in Saudi Arabia were clearly unimpressed with James’ excuses and booed him while he gave his post-fight interview.

But he doubled down on his claims that Tommy ‘wasn’t that great’ on his podcast.

When asked by his brother Logan for the main reasons behind his loss on the show , he said: ‘Lots of reasons; I was sick for four weeks out of this nine-week camp and the travelling, jet-lagged for another week of that.’

Paul had come into this fight with an unblemished record of six straight wins, and the American said his first loss had ‘everything to do with me’ and not Fury, even claiming his last opponent – 47-year-old former MMA star Anderson Silva – had given him a tougher fight.

‘That’s what’s p***ing me off the most, it had nothing to do with him, it had everything to do with me,’ he added. ‘He wasn’t that great at all, I think Anderson was tougher than him and I figured out that puzzle. He threw a lot of punches, that was his biggest thing.’

It adds to the excuses coming from Paul directly after the fight, when he said he disagreed with the judges’ scoreboards of 76-73 twice and 75-74 in his favour and claimed he felt ‘flat’ and ‘sick’ during his camp and also struggled with an injury.
