The Big 12 proved it’s the best conference in college basketball all season long, and the NCAA Tournament was set to be the team’s showcase.
The conference had a No. 1 seed in the West in defending National Champions Kansas and three other top three seeds in No. 2 seed Texas and No. 3 seeds Kansas State and Baylor. Overall, the Big 12 sent seven teams into the ‘Big Dance.’
