European nations will play as much as three video games in September, a mixture of World Cup qualifiers and friendlies.

In a letter to nationwide associations, the European and world governing our bodies mentioned the choice was taken for “the security of all these concerned”.

The choice will likely be reviewed for matches in October and November.

It means England followers will be unable to journey to away World Cup qualifiers in Poland and Hungary, with the Soccer Affiliation already confirming it won’t obtain an allocation of tickets.

Scotland followers may even be absent for qualifiers in Denmark and Austria, whereas Wales have a pleasant towards Finland earlier than heading to Belarus for a qualifier.

Northern Eire have a qualifier in Lithuania and a pleasant with Estonia, whereas the Republic of Eire journey to Portugal for a qualifier.
