- Benn is now free to fight in the UK again following the clearance by UKAD
Conor Benn has been cleared by UKAD over his two positive VADA drugs tests ahead of his proposed fight agains Chris Eubank Jr last year.
The bout was cancelled and Benn was charged by UKAD in April after failing two drugs tests.
However, Michael Benson has now revealed that the fighter is free to fight in the UK again after being cleared by UKAD.
The 26-year-old has maintained his innocence and spent ‘hundreds and thousands’ on scientists to clear his name after traces of clomiphene were found in his samples.
And the news that he has been cleared comes after Eddie Hearn revealed he was confident that Benn would be exonerated.

‘He spent hundreds and thousands going through that process,’ Hearn said. ‘The result is imminent. I believe him. It’s been one year since the test.
‘But, every day he’s had untold stick. And, if he’s clear – and I hope he will be – I hope some people understand what he went through.’
With the boxer now cleared, he will be allowed to fight in the United Kingdom again and could look to finally enter the ring against Eubank Jr.
Eubank Jr lost his last bout to Liam Smith by TKO and is set for the rematch in September.
It’s a fight that Benn will no doubt be keeping an eye on as he plans his return to the ring in the UK.
