Arch Manning confirmed he will be taking his official visits to three schools in June.

Five-star quarterback Arch Manning confirmed to 247Sports that he will be taking official visits to Georgia (June 4), Alabama (June 11) and Texas (June 18) this summer.

While Texas was the first team to reveal it was getting an official visit from Manning, it comes as a surprise to absolutely no one that Alabama and Georgia would be getting official visits from him as well. These are the three schools most in the running for his 2023 five-star commitment. Manning has unofficially visited all three schools three times previously. It all comes down to this.

What other important information can fans glean from Manning’s official visits announcement?

Arch Manning confirms he is officially visiting Georgia, Alabama and Texas

While a prospective college athlete can take upwards of five official visits, these might be the only three that Manning takes. Though Florida and LSU have new head coaches at the helm, the Gators and the Tigers are so far behind Alabama, Georgia and Texas for his commitment. One could argue this race is going to come down to either Texas or Georgia with Alabama poised to finish in third.

Though much is being made about Texas getting the third of these three official visits, the program in Austin is in far worse shape than the ones in Athens and Tuscaloosa. While Manning has said Athens is an amazing college town, his connection to Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian seems to be his strongest. Do Nick Saban and Kirby Smart have any chance to reel in Manning?

Of course, they do! What this really comes down to is where Manning feels the most comfortable. All three programs can offer him different things, but only one will be lucky enough to win the Arch Manning sweepstakes. Not since his Uncle Peyton picked Tennessee in the early 1990s has a singular high school football player’s recruitment been this fascinating. He may be deciding soon.

There is a good possibility Manning picks his school before toe meets rubber Labor Day Weekend.
