Cult favorite boxer Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch has revealed a stunning weight loss transformation on his Instagram page.

The 57-year-old, who was a former IBA super heavyweight champion, said that he weighed 515 pounds roughly 18 months to two years ago.

But in a video posted on Thursday, the slimmer-looking boxer stepped on the scale to reveal he was 303.8 pounds – a whopping 212 pounds less than his previous weight.

Butterbean also once tipped the scales at an astonishing 417 pounds ahead of a 2007 bout against Joe Siciliano.

Butterbean credited his transformation to working out with DDP Yoga, a program started by former WWE wrestler Diamond Dallas Page.

According to the company’s website, DDPY workouts are ‘uniquely designed to strengthen muscles, ligaments, and tendons while stabilizing core muscles, increasing flexibility, agility, and balance.’

Butterbean last fought in 2013, when he pulled out of a fight vs. Kirk Lawton citing a shoulder injury.

However, Esch claimed last year that he was on the verge of a boxing comeback nine years after hanging up his gloves – and wasted no time in calling out Jake Paul.

‘I’m at fight weight. You’ll have to listen to my podcast coming up to find exactly how much weight I have lost, but I haven’t weighed this in over 20 years so that’ll give you an idea.

‘The big announcement is I’m gonna fight one last fight. It’s gonna be one year from now. Jake Paul, if you’re ready, I’m here for you my friend. Let’s get it on, me and you Jake Paul.’

Butterbean has not fought since making that claim in June 2022, while Paul – now 6-1 as a boxer – is set to face Nate Diaz tonight in Dallas
