“Dallas Police sources say Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was involved in an accident in Dallas and has been transported to hospital,” Rebecca Lopez of WFAA reported in a tweet. “I am told his injuries are not serious. DPD is investigating.”
According to the report, the accident took place just before 8:10 p.m. local time in the area of Wolf and Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas.
Clarence Hill Jr. tweeted that the trip to the hospital was precautionary for the 79-year-old.
Jones has had an interesting 2022 so far. He’s facing a paternity lawsuit, sorting out issues with the Cowboys cheerleaders, juggling NFL drama and getting into online spats with former players. An apparent fender-bender probably isn’t going to make it onto the Christmas card this year.
