Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors seemingly reacted to the Brooklyn Nets getting swept out of the first-round of the playoffs by the Boston Celtics.
The Brooklyn Nets were supposed to be contending for the NBA championship as soon as Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving signed with the team. Instead, they went the first two seasons without a Larry O’Brien trophy. Surely, this would be the year the Nets finally get it done.
Nope. Instead, the Nets lost 116-112 to the Boston Celtics to officially get swept in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Of course, that led to many reacting to the super team failing to live up to their expectations. But, one tweet from Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors had some users thinking that it was related to Durant and the Nets being eliminated by the Celtics.

Draymond Green denies laughing at Nets, Durant getting swept but it’s hard to buy
Green then sent out an additional tweet, asking the masses if they really thought he was laughing at the Nets. He then said that if he were, he would be more blatant about it.
Y’all thought I was laughing at the nets getting swept? I’m a little more blatant than that. Y’all can at least give me credit for that ????????????

With 22.2 seconds remaining, Durant went to the charity stripe for two free throws with the team down 111-108. Durant made the first shot to cut the deficit to 111-109. But Durant’s second attempt was not good, which allowed the Celtics to run to the opposite side of the court and resulted in Al Horford making a basket to give the team a 113-109 lead with 13.7 seconds remaining. That essentially clinched the victory for Boston.
Durant finished the night scoring 39 points while shooting 13-of-31 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free throw line in 47 minutes of playing time. Durant also recorded nine assists and seven rebounds.
It will certainly be an interesting offseason for the Nets, as they figure out how they can actually make it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2003.
