‘Molly-Mae is tired of being the bread-winner!’: Tommy Fury’s rival Jake Paul says the Love Island fighter is being FORCED into fighting him for a £20,000 pay-out this Sunday to ‘pay the bills’ after birth of daughter Bambi

YouTube star Jake Paul has mocked opponent Tommy Fury for being forced into their much-anticipated fight in Saudia Arabia on Sunday by his partner Molly-Mae Hague.

‘The Problem Child’ faces the toughest challenge of his career to date on Sunday as he takes on 8-0 professional boxer Fury in Saudi Arabia, in what is the third time the pair have been scheduled to fight.

Fury has twice withdrawn from bouts against Paul, first in December 2021 due to illness and injury, and then in August last year when their Madison Square Garden clash was axed with Fury unable to gain entry to the United States.

The withdrawals have increased the feud, which has extended to other members of Fury’s family, with Paul claiming that father John is damaging the 23-year-old’s career as well as them having to be separated during their face-off.

The pair have taunted each other on numerous occasions, the latest coming from Paul insisting that Fury has been forced into this fight due to his partner and former Love Island star Molly-Mae being ‘tired’ of being the breadwinner of the relationship.

‘Hopefully he shows up because he is frightened, he is fumbling the bag, I don’t know whether he believes in himself. The money is just too good man,’ Paul said on BT Sport Box Office.

‘He has kind of been forced into this by the fans, the media, his family and probably Molly.

‘She is probably sitting there going, Yo I just had a baby (daughter, Bambi) I can’t be the one to pay the bills the entire time.

‘He is going to be paid 20k a fight, minus taxes, he can only pay for so many diapers. It’s a hard business.

‘This is his biggest pay day and he is going to actually be able to support his family a little bit if he gets a good wealth manager and invests his money properly.

‘Molly is probably like, yeah bro I’m tired of being the breadwinner of this relationship.’

Paul also believes Fury couldn’t turn it down, as it’s the biggest payday of his boxing career

The initial date of February 25 was reportedly changed to February 26 to avoid a clash with Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition bout against Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers.

Paul will be looking to maintain his unbeaten record up against a professional boxer for the very first time, having previously taken on ex-UFC fighters, a former NBA player and one of his fellow YouTubers.

His most recent win came against Anderson Silva in October of last year, when he toppled the MMA legend via unanimous decision.

Fury, meanwhile, outpointed Daniel Bocianski when he last laced up the gloves in April last year.
