Panthers: Matt Corral’s rookie season is likely over before it even begins
At BKFC 27 London, Mike Perry defeated Bellator star Michael “Venom” Page via majority decision after six rounds.
Saturday, Aug. 20 was a busy day for fight fans. While there was the Oleksander Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua boxing fight and UFC 278, there was also BKFC 27 in London. The main event of the card was Michael “Venom” Page vs. “Platinum” Mike Perry. Would the Bellator star be able to get his first ever bare knuckle fighting win in his debut? Or would Perry stand tall in the end.
After the fight went the full five rounds, a sixth round was called between Page and Perry after the judges scored it a split draw. After the sixth round, it was Perry who took the win by majority decision.

Following the fight, Perry took some time to call out controversial boxer Jake Paul. Perry noted that Paul needs an opponent after his fight with Hasim Rahman Jr. was canceled due to weight issues. Perry called himself “the money fight” and said he’s willing “to put the pillows back on” if Paul’s “scared.”
Perry is now undefeated in BKFC, as he won his debut fight back at KnuckleMania II back on Feb. 19, defeating Julian Lane.
As for MVP, he is now 0-1 in BKFC. In his last fight before BKFC 27, Page lost to Logan Storely for the interim Welterweight Championship at Bellator 281 this past May.
