The No. 3 Clemson Tigers hope for a sixth consecutive win over the No. 6 NC State Wolfpack as the conference foes square off in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals tonight.
After a dominant 20-point win over Virginia Tech, NC State has now covered the spread in four of its last five games. That being said, the one game the Wolfpack didn’t cover was a 25-point loss at home to these very Tigers.
Clemson is rolling, winning three of its previous four contests by at least 18 thanks to one of the more efficient offenses in the country.
Can the Tigers stay hot and keep rolling or will NC State finally get a win in this series?

I believe Clemson should be favored by a few points given its dominance in this series, so I’m beyond thrilled to get the Tigers at -108 on the moneyline.
Brevin Galloway and PJ Hall destroyed the Wolfpack in Clemson’s 96-71 victory over NC State two weeks ago, combining for 48 points on 16-20 shooting. I expect another big performance from the duo tonight, as I don’t believe the Wolfpack can slow it down.
Galloway, Hall, and the rest of the Tigers should feast inside. NC State ranks 190th nationally in opponent two-point field goal percentage (50.5%), while Clemson is 42nd in two-point shooting percentage (54%). The Tigers will control the interior defensively as well, holding opponents to the 20th-lowest two-point shooting percentage (45.6%).
If Clemson somehow struggles to score inside, it can light it up from deep too with the 36th-best three-point percentage (36.9%). The Tigers have a rebounding and free-throw advantage as well, so it’s no wonder they’ve covered the spread in six straight games against the Wolfpack.
