PFL 2022 3: Kayla Harrison vs. Marina Mokhnatkina live results and highlights
The first stage of the PFL‘s 2022 regular season will wrap up with PFL 3 at the ESports Stadium in Arlington, TX, a star-studded card featuring the welterweight and women’s lightweight combatants in action.
The featured attraction of the evening will see defending two-time PFL women’s lightweight champion Kayla Harrison facing off with Marina Mokhnatkina.
After becoming the division’s first champion in 2019, Harrison repeated her dominant success in 2021, scoring a finish in every one of her fights that season. Harrison TKO’d Mariana Morais and submitted Cindy Dandois in the 2021 season before a playoff performance that saw her TKO Genah Fabian and submit Taylor Guardado.
Despite teasing a signing with either the UFC or Bellator in free agency, Harrison elected to stay with the PFL.
A Sambo world champion, Mokhnatkina started her professional MMA career in 2016, going 4-1 in Fight Nights Global. She then had a pair of bouts in Bellator, losing to Janay Harding before scoring a win over Amanda Bell.
She made her PFL debut in August at PFL 8, scoring a decision over Claudia Zamora.
PFL 3 will also feature action from former UFC champion Anthony Pettis, former Bellator champions Rory MacDonald and Julia Budd and defending two-time PFL welterweight champion Ray Cooper III.
