West Ham United fans had feared that Declan Rice was on his way to their London rivals Arsenal. However, a move to Germany could be on the cards for Rice.
According to the Mirror, “Bayern Munich are prepared to pay a staggering package worth £95 million to land Declan Rice from West Ham.
“Thomas Tuchel is understood to have made contact with Rice already – with the England midfielder interested.”
Rice has ambitions to play in the Champions League which he will be able to do with Bayern. He will also challenge for trophies with the side that won the Bundesliga on the final day of the season.
West Ham have developed a lot of talented players over the years. Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand and Joe Cole all came through their academy. Rice looks to be the next great player that the Hammers nurtured who will go on to have a very successful career.
Premier League news: Martin Odegaard to Paris Saint-Germain
Martin Odegaard came so close to winning the Premier League with Arsenal this season. The captain was a very influential player for the Gunners who scored 15 goals and made eight assists in 37 league games.
Mikel Arteta will be desperate to keep Odegaard but the Norwegian has been linked with a move to the French champions. The Daily Mail has reported that “Paris Saint-Germain have made surprise soundings over the signing of Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard.
“However, the French giants could find it tough to persuade the Norwegian to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.”
Lionel Messi is expected to leave PSG when his contract expires this summer. Neymar could also be a possible departure from the Parc des Princes. The Parisians will need to replace these players and who better than Odegaard with his talent and leadership skills?
Premier League news: Roberto Firmino to Real Madrid
Roberto Firmino will leave Liverpool this summer and he could make a spectacular move to Real Madrid. The Daily Mail has revealed that “Firmino is waiting to see where he would fit in with Real Madrid’s plans before taking a decision on moving to Spain.
“The soon-to-be free agent is on Madrid’s list for this summer as he contemplates which club he will join after leaving Liverpool.”
Firmino would want regular game time, which he would unlikely get at Los Blancos as they have Karim Benzema. The Brazilian will have other options as clubs in La Liga, Serie A, MLS and the Saudi Professional League are also interested.
It was a perfect end to his career at Anfield last weekend as Firmino scored in an eight-goal thriller with Southampton. He has spent a fantastic eight years with the Reds where he won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup. Whoever signs the 30-year-old will be getting a top player.
