Sunny Edwards beat Andres Campos via unanimous decision on Saturday evening to retain his IBF flyweight title. 

All three judges scored the contest 117-111 in favour of the British fighter, handing Campos the first loss of his career. 

Meanwhile, Edwards extended his undefeated record to 20 and secured his first win under his new promoter Eddie Hearn

Campos may have edged the first round but it didn’t take long for Edwards to settle into the fight and assert his dominance. 

Edwards grew in confidence as the fight went on and was heard shouting: ‘he ain’t hitting me now,’ to his corner at the end of the fourth.

Speaking after the fight, Edwards said he was focused on securing a unification fight with American WBO champion Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez.

‘Bam Rodriguez – where are you?’ he said live on DAZN. ‘I was waiting. Sign the contract. Eddie [Hearn] said sign the contract.’ 

Meanwhile, Ellie Scotney overcame Cherneka Johnson to win the IBF super-bantamweight title in just her seventh professional fight. 

Earlier in the night, Nina Hughes beat Katie Healy via unanimous decision to retain her WBA bantamweight title.
