So much fire is spread out throughout the card. There’s another title fight between Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza. The icing on the cake is a lightweight bout between Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler.

With so much star power on the card, it’s difficult to keep up with all of the fighters … especially with 15 fights on the card, it’s hard to know who you should be excited about heading into the card.

Andre Fialho is fighting in the featured prelim bout against Cameron VanCamp. Fialho is the fighter to watch on UFC 274.

The welterweight division has another knockout artist on its hands in Andre Fialho

Fialho is a welterweight fighting out of Portugal. He holds an impressive record of 15-4. Fialho has an impressive record. However, the real eye-popping factor is the fact Fialho has ended 12 of his fights by knockout. Despite only being in the UFC for two fights, Fialho has fought UFC caliber fighters such as Chris Curtis and James Vick.

Fialho signed with the UFC on Jan. 11, 2022. Just 11 days later, he fought on the main card of UFC 270 against Michel Pereira. Pereira would end up winning this fight by unanimous decision. However, Fialho showed great promise with his power and heart. Three months later, Fialho would get a redemption fight against Miguel Baeza. Fialho would show why he earned a UFC contract when he won the fight in round one by TKO.

Now three weeks later, Fialho finds himself in the featured prelim bout. His opponent, VanCamp, holds an MMA record of 15-5-1; winning 13 of his fights by a finish. VanCamp will also be making his UFC debut in a weight class above the one he normally fights in. He is currently riding a four-fight win streak. His last loss was in April of 2019.

These two like to chase a finish. Fialho finds himself with some more advantages as he has more knockout power and VanCamp normally fights at lightweight. Hoping to make it two wins in a row, Fialho is certainly a fighter to watch out for at UFC 274.
