Today’s USMNT rumors include Sergino Dest being linked with Besiktas, Brighton have joined the race for Tyler Adams and Timothy Weah could be on his way to Juventus.

USMNT rumors: Sergino Dest to Besiktas

Sergino Dest needs to find a new club where he can play regularly. Last season he was on loan at AC Milan from Barcelona but played just eight times in Serie A.

The USMNT defender looked to be on his way to Union Berlin. However, Daniele Longo has revealed that this is not on the cards anymore. Although, the journalist added that “now the Barcelona full-back is in Besiktas’ sights.”

The prospect of playing in the Turkish Super Lig would be seen as a step down for Dest. Nonetheless, after not proving himself with Barca or Milan it might be his best option especially after a move to Germany has been ruled out.

A return to the Netherlands could also be an option for Dest. Edgar Moreno has reported that “there’s Real Interest from Dutch side PSV for the USMNT Full back “Sergiño Dest“ but have yet to submit an official offer.”

Dest made his name at Ajax in the Eredivisie, earning him his move to Barca. Returning to the country of his birth could inspire him to get back to his best. Ricardo Pepi has also been heavily linked with PSV, so there could be a notable Stars and Stripes contingent at the club next season.

USMNT rumors: Tyler Adams to Brighton

Tyler Adams has been linked with a host of Premier League teams after his Leeds United side was relegated to the Championship. Despite his injuries last season, Adams proved he is good enough to continue in English soccer’s top flight but it remains to be seen where his next destination will be.

According to the Daily Mail, “Brighton have joined the list of clubs weighing up a £25million bid for Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams. Aston Villa, Everton and Nottingham Forest have all enquired for the 24-year-old amid rumours the USA international has a relegation release clause.”

A move to the Seagulls would make sense as they are preparing to lose Moises Caicedo this summer. Alexis Mac Allister has already left the club to join Liverpool, so Roberto De Zerbi’s side needs to strengthen their midfield.

Brighton is also a team that is on the up, they got to the semi-finals of the FA Cup last season and finished sixth in the league which qualified them for the Europa League.

USMNT rumors: Timothy Weah to Juventus

Timothy Weah showed his versatility last season for Lille, playing as a forward and a full-back. His father George who played for AC Milan has spoken that he hopes his son will play in Italy one day.

This ambition could come true with La Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that Juventus are interested in the American. It would certainly be a spectacular move and one that Weah could not say no to.
