Warren himself wrote on X; ‘Dominant win @anthonyjoshua! Some massive fights in the division to make, the #DayOfReckoning did not disappoint.’

While head of PR for Queensbury Dev Sahni also praised the fighter, even though Joshua refused to answer his questions at a press conference in the lead up to the bout.

Sahni posted; ‘Excellent performance from Anthony Joshua! A winning AJ is great news for the heavyweight division!’

There was also praise for AJ’s link-up with Ben Davidson, who was in his corner for the fight with Wallin.

An ecstatic fan celebrated the win and Davison partnership by posting; ‘Here he is. AJ is back baby! That’s the best he’s looked in years. Aggressive, accurate, spiteful and dangerous.
