Drake puts huge $250k wager on Nate Diaz to beat Jake Paul… and he’ll take home $1MILLION if he wins big bet

  • Rapper Drake has developed a reputation as a high-stakes sports gambler
  • And he’s trying his luck once again, this time on Nate Diaz this weekend
  • DailyMail.com provides all the latest international sports news

Drake lost $400k betting on Jake Paul in February, and this time his allegiance is with Nate Diaz ahead of his boxing bout vs. the ex-YouTuber in Dallas.

The rapper, who’s become notorious for his high-stakes sports bets, shared a bet slip on his Instagram story that showed he had risked $250k to win $1million on Diaz defeating Paul.

‘Jake is a dog but I can never bet against a Diaz brother that’s just how I was raised,’ he captioned the photo.

The Canadian chart-topper predicted Paul to beat Tommy Paul in the winter but proved to be incorrect.

Paul apologized after that fight for costing Drake a hefty sum but jokingly blamed the rapper for his loss in the ring.

‘F***, this is Drake’s fault,’ he said on February 26.

‘$400k is nothing to him. He’s won a lot more money betting on me before, so he’s probably about even now.’

Drake did manage to win $1.38million in April when Gervonta Davis defeated Ryan Garcia with a seventh-round knockout.

The ‘Search & Rescue’ artist risked $1million on that pick.

However, he also lost a ‘mere’ $45k total on three separate bets that (incorrectly) predicted which round Davis would win in.

Ahead of their fight on Saturday, Paul and Diaz exchanged verbal jabs at the weigh-in on Friday.

‘No matter how the fight goes, don’t forget, this motherf***er can’t really fight,’ Diaz said.

Paul responded some barbs of his own.

‘Tomorrow I’m dog walking that b****! I’m putting him on a leash and I’m sending him back to the cage!,’ he said.

Paul is 6-1 in his boxing career after losing to Fury in February.

Diaz, a UFC legend, will be making his pro boxing debut in the fight.
