Jake Paul’s girlfriend Jutta Leerdam has paid tribute to her partner in an emotional post on social media, describing the YouTuber-turned-fighter as ‘special’ following his win over Nate Diaz.

Paul returned to winning ways on Saturday night after slumping to the first defeat of his career against Tommy Fury earlier this year, cruising to a unanimous-decision points victory over UFC legend Diaz in Dallas.

It was a much-improved display from the 26-year-old, who is now eyeing a rematch with Fury, an MMA showdown with Diaz and, perhaps more unlikely, a clash with pound-for-pound great Canelo Alvarez.

Yet after his latest victory, Leerdam, 24, has gushed over Paul in a celebratory post on Instagram, telling her boxer boyfriend she is ‘so so proud’ of him and that his work ethic ‘inspires’ her.

Along with a series of photos and videos from Saturday night in Dallas, the Olympic speed skater and model wrote: ‘I’m so so proud of you. You have only been doing this sport for 3.5 years and make the biggest fights happen.

‘You inspire me so much with your work ethic, the way you think big, and your crazy determination. You are special @jakepaul. My champion.’

Paul and Leerdam, who went public with their romance back in April, share a kiss in one of the videos on her Instagram post.

The pair reportedly met through Instagram late last year and eventually hit it off after meeting in Miami, with Paul saying back in April that he is ‘deeply in love’.

‘She’s like the purest soul I’ve ever met out of anyone,’ he said on his brother Logan’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast. ‘Pretty f*****g incredible of a woman, and I’m very happy with her. I’m in love.’

‘Deeply in love, it’s so cool, bro. it’s crazy how life works, man.’

Paul called time on his previous relationship with Julia Rose back in 2021 and has also been engaged in the past to ex-fiancée Tana Mongeau.

Leerdam, meanwhile, previously dated fellow speed skater Koen Verweij before going their separate ways last year.

The Dutch athlete boasts a gold medal from the 2022 World Sprint Championships and a silver from that year’s Winter Olympics, while also winning the 1000m world title on two occasions (2020 and 2023).

As for Paul, it remains to be seen whether he targets a second crack at Fury or follows up on his pledge to fight Diaz in MMA next.

According to ESPN, Paul and the Professional Fighters League, the promotion he represents as a brand ambassador, are ready to offer Diaz $10million for a clash in the Octagon.
