Kelly Kay announces she’s pregnant 1 month after Spencer Webb’s tragic death

Kelly Kay revealed that she is pregnant with the child of Oregon tight end Spencer Webb, who tragically passed away a month ago.

Last month, the college football world received the sad news that Oregon tight end Spencer Webb had tragically passed away in a cliff-diving accident at the age of 22.

Model Kelly Kay, Webb’s girlfriend, took to Instagram on Monday to reveal that she was pregnant with their child. The post featured a photo of kay holding a sonogram of the couple’s child, in addition to photos of herself and Webb.

“We created an angel before heaven gained one. All you ever wanted was to be a father,” Kay writes in the caption of the post.

“I know you’ll be the best one from up above. Can’t believe I have to do it without you but knowing I’ll have a piece of you keeps me going. I can’t wait to meet the person that’s half you, half me. I love you forever, both of you.”

On July 13, authorities responded to an injured person who had fallen and struck their head at Triangle Lake in Eugene, where it was later revealed to be Webb, per the Lane County Sheriff’s Office. Responders were unable to revive Webb.

Webb had played four years with the Ducks football program as a four-star recruit in the 2018 class. In the 2019 season, Webb recorded 18 receptions for 209 yards and three touchdowns. This past year, Webb caught 13 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown in 11 games.
