A Misfits Boxing event was disrupted in Tennessee on Saturday over a swatting incident, prompting YouTuber, fighter and promoter KSI to issue a warning online.

‘The event is back plus the swatter is gonna get sued and arrested,’ KSI wrote on X as the fight card resumed in Spring Hill, Tennessee – a town 37 miles south of Nashville.

Swatting – a prank in which emergency services are called and unwittingly dispatched to a non-emergency target – is already a major problem in Tennessee. In one 2020 incident, a Tennessee man suffered a fatal heart attack when police were rushed to his home. Since then, the state has instituted a new law aimed at curtailing the dangerous practice.

Misfits Boxing 13 was broken up during the second round of a bout between Lil Cracra and Yuddy Gang, prompting Worldwide Stages arena to be evacuated by police.

Spring Hill police did not answer the phone when DailyMail.com reached out for further details.

Although video of police rushing the arena has not surfaced, KSI revealed the swatting prank on X.

‘I’ve never seen an event that I’m watching LIVE, get swatted,’ the London-born KSI wrote. ‘America’s different.’

KSI, who launched Misfits Boxing with Wasserman Boxing in 2021, claims the swatter helped to promote the fight card.

‘Whoever called in the bomb threat, well played,’ he wrote. ‘You’ve now just made Misfits 13 one of the most talked about events.’

The event resumed a little over an hour later.

‘We apologize for that brief delay,’ Misfits commentator Todd Grisham explained on social media. ‘Basically what happened is the local law enforcement authorities out of an abundance of caution asked everyone to clear the arena so they could do an in-depth security check.

‘They did that and have been given the all-clear so we will continue the show.’

Lil Cracra-Yuddy Gang was ruled a no-contest, but the subsequent three bouts went ahead as scheduled.
