Both the Memphis Tigers and Houston Cougars will be in the NCAA Tournament this season, but one of these teams will earn an automatic bid by winning the AAC Championship on Sunday.

Houston dominated Cincinnati on Saturday, holding the Bearcats to just 48 points in a 21-point win.

Memphis may have been even better in the semifinals, winning by four over Tulane to advance to Sunday’s final.

These teams have played twice this season with Houston winning both matchups. The Cougars won by eight at home and two on the road, with the most recent meeting coming on March 5.

Here are the odds and a pick for the AAC final:

Memphis vs. Houston prediction and pick

Memphis is being undervalued in this line given how well it has played against Houston this season.

The Tigers’ eight-point loss on the road to the Cougs came without their best player, Kendric Davis, who averages 21.8 points and 5.6 assists per game this season.

It’s impressive that Memphis was able to keep that game within double-digits, and I think the team has the offensive attack to hang around on Sunday.

Houston is fourth in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency, but Memphis is 19th in the country in points per game and 23rd in field goal percentage.

This is a clash of styles, as the Cougars hold their hat on the defensive end, but I think the first two meetings are a good showing of how Memphis matches up with this team.

With Davis in the lineup, the Tigers are undervalued as six-point dogs.
