Tyson Fury LOSES £100,000 bet on brother Tommy to defeat Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia despite split decision win… after the Gypsy King’s sibling FAILS to knock out the YouTube star who went the distance
Tyson Fury has lost his £100,000 bet on brother Tommy to defeat Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia.
The long-standing feud finally came to a conclusion at Diriyah Arena on Sunday evening after the Love Island star beat the former YouTuber via split decision.
The undefeated heavyweight champion revealed that he had placed the wager after being impressed by Tommy’s performances in sparring leading up to the fight.
However, the 23-year-old failed to knock out Paul with the ‘Problem Child’, 26, going the distance.
Speaking to iFL TV, the Gypsy King previously claimed Paul would be surprised with his sibling’s punching power.

‘Tommy knocks out 90 per cent of people that he spars with or drops them at least, so he’s a very hard puncher and Jake Paul will find that out tomorrow.
‘I’ve got 100 racks on it for an inside-the-distance stoppage, so if he loses, then I’ll lose 100 bags as well. I’ve got him at 3/1.
‘I know Tommy is going to knock him out. What is a little bit stupid is I see all these experts and professional boxers picking Jake Paul over Tommy.
‘I’m like, “What the hell are these guys watching?”, because Tommy will absolutely deck him.
‘I think Tommy can get him out of there whenever really. It’ll definitely be inside the distance and it won’t be a points job for sure. Tommy wins by knockout.’
Fury, who remains determined to emulate brother Tyson by becoming a world champion, took a standing count for a knockdown in the final eighth round.
But the fighter claimed to have slipped and had done enough to earn victory on the judges’ cards.
As well as claiming the newly-made WBC Diriyah Belt, Fury will controversially earn a place in the WBC cruiserweight rankings.
Fury, who was defending an undefeated 8-0 professional record, dedicated the victory to girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and new-born daughter Bambi.
Speaking ringside, he said: ‘For the past two and a half years, this is all that’s consumed my life.

‘Tonight I made my own legacy. Molly, this fight was for you and for you, Bambi, I love you.’
Fury continued: ‘I had a dream and a vision that I would win this fight and no one believed me. I had pressure on my shoulders and I came through.
‘This to me is a world title fight – I’ve trained so hard for this. This was my destiny, we did it.’
It also proved a lucrative evening’s work for Fury after his father John accepted Cleveland-born Paul’s double-or-nothing offer at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference.
