Tyson Fury has revealed the incredible amount of money Francis Ngannou made from their boxing match in October while labeling the former UFC champion an ‘ungrateful f****r’.

Ngannou made the switch from MMA to boxing last year following disagreements with fighter pay with the UFC.

He made his pro debut against WBC heavyweight champion Fury in Saudi Arabia in a fight that few gave him a chance in but proceeded to shock the world with his performance.

Fury ultimately claimed the victory on the scorecards but the majority felt Ngannou deserved the win after a bout which saw Fury hit the canvas.

There was no doubt that Ngannou was paid handsomely for the crossover showdown but Fury has now revealed the true extent of his payday.

Tyson Fury says Francis Ngannou made between six and seven million dollars for their fight

Speaking ahead of Ngannou’s fight with Anthony Joshua on Friday night, Fury said: ‘all of his UFC career he made about $1m (£800,000).

‘He made about $6m of $7m against me. He should be thanking me really.

‘Instead I’ve had to tell him off in front of a load of people because he’s having a lot to say on camera after I’ve given him his biggest payday by a million times. He’s just an ungrateful f****r really.’

Fury was referring to a clash between Ngannou and himself and this week’s pre-fight press conference.

Fury was sitting in the crowd and shouted up to say that he would beat Ngannou with ease if they were to fight again.

Ngannou replied: ‘I’m going to wipe the ring with your a*** again – there was blood in the ring.

‘Your only chance is in the boxing ring with boxing rules, when you step out the ring you better stay five metres away because if I lose it, you’ll have a really bad time my friend.

‘Respect the fact boxing rules are protecting you, because you are nothing in front of me. I’ll beat you every day, twice on Sunday.’
